Cécile Goubet appointed Managing Director of the Institut de la Finance Durable
The Institute for Sustainable Finance – IFD – announces the appointment of its new Managing Director, Cécile Goubet, effective September 25, 2023. Cécile Goubet had been with the Commissariat général au développement durable since 2023, after serving as advisor to the Minister for Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher. She succeeds Pauline Becquey, who had been the IFD’s general manager since its creation and who successfully launched the Institute’s priority projects, with the support of its various stakeholders.
After serving as advisor to the Minister for Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, in 2022, where she was in charge of the sobriety plan and climate issues, Cécile Goubet had been the coordinator of the acceleration strategy for ecoresponsible digital innovation since 2023. Cécile Goubet has over 15 years’ experience in energy and ecological transition issues, notably at the Caisse des dépôts, the Direction générale de l’énergie et du climat and Avere France, which she headed from 2018 to 2022. She now joins the IFD as Managing Director, where her experience will enable the IFD to pursue its mission of accelerating the Paris financial center’s action to achieve the energy and environmental transition.
